We manufacture and install factory-authorized aftermarket windows for a wide variety of aerospace brands, including:

Repair

Damaged transparencies can often be repaired, because airplane cabin and cockpit windows are designed to last throughout the usable life of the aircraft. Our FAA certified mobile technician will travel to your location in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico or Wyoming to assess the issue. He or she will evaluate the transparency’s integrity and measure the depth of the chip or crack to determine if repair or replacement is needed.

Often, superficial scratches can be buffed out with window polishing, which also dramatically improves the window’s clarity. Haziness or cloudiness due to improper cleaning or age can often be removed as well. However, a deep chip or crack will require the transparency to be replaced.

Your technician will perform another inspection after repairs are completed and then provide you with a certificate for the work that was done.

Replacement

If a windshield or a cabin or cockpit window has deep gouges, chips or cracks, it will need to be replaced. Lee Aerospace’s FAA certified mobile technicians will travel to your hangar in the Grand Junction area, remove the old window, install a new one, complete an inspection and get you back in the air as soon as possible.

We offer replacement airplane windows for a wide variety of manufacturers. Heated windshields and CoolView windows are also available for some models, so be sure to ask about those options for your aircraft.

Inspection

One of our FAA/EASA certified technicians can complete a pre-buy inspection before you buy or sell an aircraft. This can reveal hard-to-see wear and tear or additional damage that could lead to bigger, more costly repairs in the future.

A mobile tech will travel to the location of the plane and evaluate the integrity of the windshield, cabin windows and cockpit side windows to ensure they’re within the manufacturer’s acceptable tolerance guidelines. Our team of technicians spans the globe, so you can schedule an inspection and have a tech anywhere in the world within 24 hours. While there, he or she can also complete any needed repairs that are discovered.

Installation

If you’ve purchased a replacement window for your aircraft, contact us for an estimate to have it installed by one of our FAA certified technicians. Our mobile tech will come to your location in the Grand Junction area and complete the installation and required follow-up inspection in your hangar.
