Repair
Our FAA certified mobile technician will travel to your location in San Antonio or throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico or Louisiana to determine if your transparency can be repaired. Since cabin and cockpit windows for airplanes are made to last for an aircraft’s usable lifespan, cracks or chips that can often be repaired. Your technician will evaluate the transparency’s integrity and measure the depth of the crack or chip. If the window has a deep chip or crack, it will need to be replaced, but superficial scratches, hazing or cloudiness can often be buffed out with window polishing.
After the needed repairs or polishing are completed, the tech will complete a follow-up inspection and give you a certificate for the work that was completed.
Replacement
If your window or windshield has a deep crack, gouge or chip, it will need to be replaced. We’ll dispatch one of our FAA certified mobile technicians right away to your hangar in the San Antonio area. Once the tech removes the damaged window and installs a new one, a follow-up inspection will be completed to ensure your plane is ready to get back into the air.

Having an accurate evaluation of the condition of the plane’s transparencies will provide peace of mind for both the buyer and the seller. An inspection will reveal wear and tear or hidden damage that could lead to costly future repairs.
An airplane window inspection includes a thorough examination of the plane’s windshield, the cabin windows and the cockpit side windows. Your technician will evaluate the integrity of all transparencies and ensure that they meet the acceptable tolerance guidelines set by the manufacturer. Any needed window repairs can also be completed on-site.

Installation
