We manufacture and install factory-authorized aftermarket windows for a wide variety of aerospace brands, including:

Repair

In many cases, damaged transparencies can be repaired because airplane cockpit and cabin windows are designed to last through the aircraft’s usable life. Our FAA certified mobile technician will travel to Orlando and throughout Florida, Georgia or Alabama to assess the issue. He or she will measure the depth of the crack or chip and evaluate the overall integrity of the transparency to determine if it should be repaired or replaced.

Superficial scratches can often be buffed out with window polishing and, in some cases, cloudiness or haziness due to age or improper cleaning can also be removed. This process dramatically improves the window’s clarity. If the transparency has a deep chip or crack, it will have to be replaced.

After the repairs are complete, your technician will perform another inspection and give you a certificate for the work.

Replacement

Windshields, cabin and cockpit windows with deep gouges, cracks or chips will need to be replaced. Lee Aerospace’s FAA certified mobile technicians will travel to your hangar in the Orlando area, remove the old window, install a new one and complete an inspection so you can get back in the air as soon as possible.

We provide replacement windows for a variety of airplane manufacturers. Be sure to ask about the availability of heated windshields and/or CoolView windows for your aircraft model.

Inspection

Before you buy or sell an aircraft, have one of our FAA/EASA certified technicians perform a pre-buy inspection. This can uncover wear and tear or additional damage that could lead to costly future repairs.

A mobile tech will travel to the plane’s location and then perform an assessment. He or she will evaluate the integrity of the cabin windows, cockpit side windows and the windshield to ensure they’re all within the acceptable tolerance guidelines set by the manufacturer. Our team spans the globe, so you can schedule an inspection anywhere in the world and have a tech there within 24 hours. They can also complete any needed repairs after the inspection.

Installation

If you have a replacement window that you’ve purchased for your aircraft, contact us for an estimate for installation by one of our FAA certified technicians. Our mobile tech will come to your hangar in the Orlando area, complete the installation and then handle the required follow-up inspection.
