Repair
When you contact us for an aircraft window repair, our FAA certified mobile technician will travel to your location in Battle Creek or throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana or Ohio. The first step will be to evaluate the integrity of the transparency and measure the depth of any cracks or chips to determine if a repair can be completed. Airplane cabin and cockpit windows are built to last throughout the aircraft’s usable life, so it’s often possible to repair chips and cracks. However, a window with a deep crack or chip will have to be replaced. Hazing, cloudiness and superficial cracks can typically be buffed out with window polishing.
After your tech completes the polishing or any needed repairs, he or she will complete a follow-up inspection and then provide you with a certificate for the repair.
Replacement
An airplane window or windshield with a deep gouge, crack or chip will have to be replaced. If this is the case for your aircraft, we’ll immediately dispatch one of our FAA certified mobile repair technicians to your hangar in the Battle Creek area. The tech will remove the damaged window, install a new one, and then complete a follow-up inspection to ensure your plane is ready to take to the skies once again.

The tech will complete a thorough inspection and check for hidden damage and general wear and tear that could lead to costly repairs in the future.
Our airplane window inspections include thoroughly examining the aircraft’s cabin windows, cockpit side windows and the windshield. Your technician will ensure that the integrity of each transparency meets the manufacturer’s acceptable tolerance guidelines. If it’s determined that any window repairs are needed, your mobile tech can complete them while on-site.
